E&J DeMARK Est. 1984
Originally founded by J. Edwin Hecock and James P. Mumper. In 1984, Ed Hecock and Jim Mumper incorporated E&J DeMARK. The original operations started in the garage of a house in Wauseon, Ohio. Their goal was to bring new and innovative electrical grounding products and tools to the utility and phone industries.
Over the years, E&J DeMARK continued to grow and gain recognition in these markets by continuing to invent and innovate high quality and user-friendly tools and accessories. To date DeMARK holds four US patents and produces eight electrical product lines.
In 1992, Jim Mumper decided to move on from E&J DeMARK and Ed Hecock began the transition to in-house manufacturing and distribution. By 1995, DeMARK had outgrown its garage and purchased its current location at 1115 North Ottokee St. in Wauseon to consolidate and oversee the manufacturing process of its products.
Three years later DeMARK had not only cemented a reputation for quality proprietary products it had taken that same attention to detail a step further by becoming a quality manufacturer of contract machined products for others in the area.
Over the past three decades since its founding DeMARK expanded its capabilities into CNC Lathe, CNC Mill, Centerless Grinding and Swiss Turn technology and strives to continually provide the highest level of contract machining for its customers.
